Galadhrim -- Elf-folk: This is the most prominent race/species in Finoria. They tend to be fair-haired, and unlike the stereotypical elf, only a few have pointed ears. Those with pointed ears will often use gol (magic) to hide their ears, showing that they are humble, and not more special or more important than others.
Morben -- Dark Elves: These elves, contrary to popular belief, are not evil. Those that have pointed ears, however, do commonly leave their ears shown, as they believe they are more talented than other Morben.
Calben -- Light Elves: These elves are truly virtuous, and never learn the art of swordery or offensive magic. They use only defensive and healing magic, and tend to try and stay out of fights.
Onodrim -- Ent-folk: These are the the shepherds of the forest. They usually stay within the borders of Finoria, but every once in a million years, one will travel into Silar's borders and root down to help take care of the forest's there. Currently there are two of the Onodrim within Silar's borders.
Gonhirrim* -- Dwarf-folk: These stout, stubby-legged workers are easily tempermental, but friendly. They refuse to allow the Galadhrim to pick up a hammer or axe, as they take pride in being the race that builds everything in Finoria. *Also sometimes called Orodhrim (Mountain-folk) because they usually take residence in mountains.
Gollor -- Magician: These are beings with extremely long lives who can easily master almost any gol(magic). They can look like the Galadhrim, the Onodrim, the Gonhirrim, or any other being they wish.
Gwingil -- Nymph: These small creatures flit about and usually take residence in flowers. Sometimes a Nymph may take a larger form, and are known as the Gwinadhrim (half-nymph-half-elf). They specialize in herbal gol.
Gwinadhrim -- Half-Nymph-Half-Elf: These creatures are basically elves with wings who specialize in herbal and healing gol. They usually live in trees.
